Curatorial Statement on Poster Design Selections
We selected works that express the tragedy of the Nakba, its persistent effects in the continued dispossession of Palestinians, and their ongoing hope for peace and justice. We sought works that communicated all of these messages clearly and powerfully so as to attract and educate the broader public about the struggle of the Palestinian people. Our final selections also breathe fresh and creative life into key symbols of this struggle.
