We Will Return

ABOUT THIS PIECE: In this poster time is a metaphor for the human spirit. The key represents the beginning and the end, the known and the unknown, the non ending circle of suffering of the Palestinians. The beginning of the NAKBA ( the year 1948) is represented under a layer of red color which symbolizes struggle, death, something lost. On the other side is the year 2008 floating in white, open space. This is the space of freedom, clarity and hope. Around the clock like images the words “We will return” create a non ending circle.
