ABOUT THIS VIDEO: Synopsis: Using original drawings and archival photographs, this short film is an imaginative exploration of the story of the Nakba from a child’s point of view. The Nakba or "catastrophe" signifies the expulsion and dispossession of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians from their homes and land in 1948. This story highlights themes of loss and separation during the Nakba with simple and touching imagery.
